We have a variation of this working on device in nos now. If someone reports a user for spam, and they have Use reports from my follows turned on, then the spam doesn’t show up in the feed of their friends.

However, you may not always agree with your friends, so you need a way to say yes I want to pay attention to your mutes etc but not Jose’s mutes.

So then we need to build an interface for managing that

I’m not a fan of ChatGPT- yes tools are tools but its a very costly tool for such mediocre results. Who would you like to see on Nostr who is not here? Is it types of content or specific people? I’m curious about your understanding of relays - what do you think they do? (Note this last question is so the rest of us building Nostr can improve how we communicate about relays.)

Thanks for the clarification nostr:npub1enkg5gj9s0neg5q6qf6tywjwey23rffaxlg5cfnaxwqghtn2uvysyzyprj - my sense is that it would be helpful to be explicit about the “who” in some of these cases. I’m not sure from the list that it is clear that people can block others they do not want to hear from. If someone sees this list cross posted to Mastodon and doesn’t know much about Nostr - it could be interpreted in ways that may not be beneficial to growing the Nostr community.
