What, dedicated boyfriends who take care of their partners after an accident leaves them with amnesia? They're practically lauded. And in most cases they should be.

As to Lee's antagonist, he's viewed like most university professors in the early 2000s. Even if the hint of doubt clings, no one says anything, for fear of reprisals... After all, everyone's heard *that* rumour, right...?

He's just a loyal sibling, trying to put right an injustice he feels was perpetrated against him and his brother a long time ago.

I'm Pax, I'm non-binary transmasc, and I live in the Midlands in the UK. I'm a moderator by day (do not recommend) and write gay modern fantasy romance and... erotica? by night. I'm currently writing a(n unintended) sequel to a story about an unwilling immortal named Caeso and his own day job of dealing with Bad People, while trying to get my thoughts together about his main book and the antagonist who's only popped up about five years too late.

Caeso, although he has a bit of an odd history. He was originally a ball-jointed doll who needed a name and personality, but he always looked a bit sad. Somebody said he looked quite Roman, and I've always liked the name. I'm not actually quite sure when he made the jump into being a character though... it just happened suddenly. One minute he was only a doll, next he was a person with a history. It's a bit weird, really.

His parents died when he was young, but Milos thinks he would probably die of shame if they'd known he used to be a sex worker, and the idea that they would still love him now he's been experimented on is... difficult for him to believe.

Alex thinks they wouldn't care about anything Milos did to survive and would just be glad he's finally happy.

If Alex ever gets his hands on HIS parents, he plans to make them very sorry.

Apparently today I am going to celebrate my birthday by giving gifts to smol dog. 🤣
