The Bible also clearly shows that “the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life.” So I agree with you in that living without fear is amazing, but we have to understand the problem of sin and what that does to our standing before almighty God.

BUT God loved us so much that he didn’t leave us in our state of depravity. He sent his son Jesus to pay the price for our sin that we could never pay, so that through him we can have eternal life. This is the good news of the gospel.
