Great! I was under impression Alby works with Kiwi browser though. I feel like Alby would be a better option as it supports LN too, enabling you to #zap without making any extra moves.

Ok, nos2x worked with Kiwi browser (I was a bit confused because it's the same name as nostr.kiwi) 🀭

Able to log in using nip-07 to both nostr.kiwi and zapddit.

AFAIK Firefox and Kiwi let you install Alby browser extension. At the same time Nostr.kiwi and zapddit are PWAs that you can add to your Home Screen and use as an app. Not sure one can login with NIP-07 and can’t check as I am (still) an iOS user.

I didn't know until very recently that you can actually disable the translation for specific languages in #Amethyst! Now, notes in French and German will not be translated on my feed anymore.

This makes me think that Amethyst should have a global "settings" page, with sections for translation, custom zap amounts, custom emojis, and I think even the security filters would belong there.

Thoughts?

Oh yes! I noticed translations disappeared for some languages. I assumed it was due to languages added to android system settings rather than an amethyst setting?

Yes! As a start I recommend a second hand cheap Google pixel as a second unit.. Just to run bitcoin and nostr related things and not having to worry about censorship.

#Amethyst is really modern and snazzy nostr client and best of all... It's open source so that you can contribute!
