Coldcard set up, node running, bitaxe mining! What's next on the todo list?

Looking to start running my own node, and wanted to start with bitcoin core. Does anyone know if there are any downsides to running this from a daily driver PC? Storage isn't an issue, but I'm more concerned about performance and privacy/security.

News coming out they lied about training cost. Anywhere from 500 million to 1 billion. Big surprised china lied.

Over the last few months I've become the "Bitcoin guy" in my friend group and family. I find it interesting they often bring things like xrp or, now, the Trump coin to me asking what I think. I try to convince them, without telling them directly, most of these are scams or get rich quick gambles. What I learn isn't just for me, but helps me guide those I care about in the right direction.

I consider myself fortunate I found communities, like this one, that helped keep my head on straight in this space. It's not about the quick buck, but building something we and our future generations can benefit from. Bitcoin not crypto!

That's awesome! I'm still learning for sure, but every couple of years I always wished I had bought bitcoin. Finally decided I wasn't going to allow myself to think like that anymore.
