Altruistic anarchist, down-to-earth, independent hobby astronaut ๐Ÿง‘โ€๐Ÿš€ and amazingly lively, passionate web developer in the stand against the technocrats. Also founder of nitropage.org, the FOSS visual website editor.

#Phantosmia means that you are torn out of your day at any time by uncontrollable odour disturbances, or worse, that you can't even start it because the attacks begin in bed in the morning and you can't do anything about it.

Today it's horrible again.

If you are the owner of yourself, of your body, then naturally you are the one keeping an eye on yourself. Watching the steps of other mature, beings would be nothing less than perverse.

If you are just the property of the system, a mere resource used to drive the technocratic progress, captured in a golden cage, then surely that system wants to watch over its livestock.

A lot of the people seem to prefer the surveillance. They give a shit about privacy and prefer having control over other people via big brother.

Good question :). Markdown in general does not "support" colored letters, that is: it does not have special syntax sugar for it. If you wanna color letters in markdown you need to workaround it via html / css. Markdown officially supports html tags. People came up with some tricks to add colors to their markdown: https://stackoverflow.com/a/65626850

Personally I went with a different approach in Nitropage: There is richtext content and there is plaintext content. In richtext content you can color the text using the richtext editor, in plaintext content (and markdown) you have to decide by yourself if you wanna do the shenanigans mentioned in the Stackoverflow thread or live with the single color.

Demo of the new code editor for Nitropage. Originally I only planned to add tab support and auto-expand for the text fields, but this seems a lot nicer :). Based on the not well-known "Prism Code Editor" (https://github.com/FIameCaster/prism-code-editor).

What do you guys think? Win or epic fail?

Updated the todos and assigned them to milestones. If you wanna know whats on the table until v1.0 check out: https://codeberg.org/nitropage/nitropage/milestone/7636

P.S. Feedback is hugely appreciated! Is something missing that you would like to see in v1.0 ๐Ÿค“? What cms features are most important to you?

Ohh ๐Ÿ˜ฎ, thats kinda cool, wait.. what coin does the Bitcoin only edition come with again? ๐Ÿ˜

Never let the autocrats and statists convince you that freedom is relative.

They want a regulated, narrow corridor of opinion - that and nothing else is what tyrants mean by freedom of speech.

What do you guys use for email hosting? I am planning to migrate away from Proton, because of their lacky email filter/cleanup features (since years) and unsupported mail protocols.

Previously used hosts:

- Gandi

- Proton

- Selfhosted (Mailinabox)

- Soverin

- Mxroute (many years ago)

Its hard to describe, very nasty, tart in a way.. The closest thing i can think of is the sensation you sometimes get when you breath in water through your nose by accident. But the phantosmia basically multiplies itself with the other smells in the room and so you perceive it in many different variations, one of the worst being kitchens smelling from cooking.

I've had #phantosmia all day again and am lying in bed. An incurable disease is really handy when you're in financial need. I wonder what I did wrong in my last life...
