If you do the right thing, alone, without support, without rewards, and it requires you ages to finish, then you will most likely starve before you finish it. Unless you have lots of savings. Willpower alone does not feed.

If you do the right thing as a second priority, then you will most likely not have the time nor focus to finish it, but you will not starve.

Thus the only way you gonna finish it is if you are healthy and lucky enough to find humans who recognize the importance of what you try to pull off and who don't try to abuse your financially weak situation.

The really hard pill to swallow is to think about how many great projects of others have failed, because of your own apathy.
