I do think about it. In a weird way I look forward to death. I am not afraid of dying per say. More afraid that it will be slow and painful than anything. But we can't chose how we die. (Not 100% accurate, but for all intents and purposes is true for me).

🙂 don't worry it has nothing to do with ghosts. I'm just spending time with terminally ill people who will pass away soon. If they want my company of course. We talk about their fear or life or just be silent holding hand. During this time usually very strong bond is created. It's difficult but also transformative. Every human being should end its life with dignity and without unbearable pain. Therefore Hospices are so important. Or mobile hospices so terminally can die at home.

You can use NIP-05 to verify your identity. There are many domains who offer this service, some free l, some for a fee, but if you’re looking for a better verification it would be better to verify on a domain you or your organization owns.

It’s not the perfect solution, but we are early in protocol development. NIP-42 may add more of a verification layer as well.

As long as the hospice's official site or official posters show the ligntning address/NIP-05 identifier, any #nostr user will be able to establish that the fund is going to the hospice.

Hello friends,

please I need your opinion.

As a volunteer (end of life doula) at local Hospice, we needs special adjustable beds for bigger patients which will help not only to them, but also to nurses .

Hospice is now in prepearation of organizing event, where people will be invited and they can contribute.

I’m thinking now, Nostr is in its core a great platform for charity as the payment system is built-in.

My concern is, how to make myself or any entity on Nostr legit, so people can trust it’s not a fraud and their sats are going to the good thing and not to someone’s pocket?

I can show my identity, my face, share photos from Hospice, create dedicated account, etc, but can be done more?

What do you think?
