nostr:npub1cj8znuztfqkvq89pl8hceph0svvvqk0qay6nydgk9uyq7fhpfsgsqwrz4u #zapvertising doesn’t just work. It like work works. I have not promoted the Bitcoin Alchemy Podcast anywhere except #Nostr notes and #zapvertising. If this trend holds up, the show can be 100% #V4V and I can fulfill a goal of many years to speak to people and share their stories.

Is it on Fountain? Can't see when searching.

Rather than interfering in markets they could help people if they increased the progressive tax brackets by the value of inflation seen in the last couple of years. But zero chance that will happen as Turkeys dont vote for Xmas.

The Czech Republic is bullish on lightning payments, and here's why:

1. The dominant online marketplace is not Amazon, but https://alza.cz, which sells a wide range of products. One of the unique features of this site is that it accepts lightning payments.

2. Many restaurants use https://www.qerko.com/, a service that provides QR codes for customers to pay their bills without needing to interact with staff. This service also accepts lightning payments, much to the delight of introverts.

3. The Bitcoin community in the Czech Republic is well-versed in the use of lightning. They frequently use LNURLs, addresses at events, and NFC payments. It's rare to find a Bitcoin user here who doesn't accept lightning. If they own a shop or restaurant, there's a high chance that they'll accept Bitcoin as a form of payment. Peer-to-peer trading with lightning is also common.

I adore the Czech Republic, and not just for the beer!

Interesting, thanks for sharing, will check the payment company out.

If you intend to run a full Bitcoin node on there with electrum etc plus store photos I would go straight for 2tb

If you are just using it as a server for passwords, photos etc it depends on how much data you want to put on there.

Universal basic items. Everyone is entitled to the same things even if they can't pay for it.

I'm using Bitwarden self hosted on my own server (Start9). Set up account for my wife and kids as well, pretty easy once you get it going.

WOS is going to be painful when it happens. Best middle ground at the moment for convenience is Phoenix. Munn needs to work out how to deal with a high fee environment.

I thought they had sold all of that, but do have 70,000 odd from the Bitfinex hack?

Paynym - the fee is clear but you can get it for leas in Sparrow (last time I checked)

Ricochet - paying for convenience no?

Xpub stealing - there is more risk if you use their mobile app AND their nodes assuming they are a bad actor. You can use with your own node or you can use with Sparrow, Foundation and I'm sure another one was announced last week.

Forward privacy download Sparrow wallet on a desktop and mix to a new wallet.

But people would still know you had BTC at a point in time. No way round that I dont think apart from selling and rebuying.
