Photographed these two beautiful Yellow-crowned Night Herons in breeding plumage, late one afternoon standing in the grass at the edge of a local pond. A complimentary texture was applied to the background.

This Brown Pelican standing on a post in the bay seemed to be having a good hearty laugh about something. In actuality though, he was probably getting ready to have a big stretch of his gular pouch. I like the laugh story better though. :)

Took this photo of a stand of Austrailian pine trees one evening at sunset here on a Florida Gulf coast beach. An earlier rainstorm had left puddles in its wake and they made for beautiful reflections. The copyright seal will not appear on the product.
