If you have shitty devices that want to connect to WiFi (ie smart TVs, Phillips hue light bulbs etc)...

These should be on a separate network as your workstation and phone, like the guest network.

Usually these devices are never updated and have the shittiest security ever, don't let them see your trusted devices on the network.

I do quite like the page customisability of cytube, also the ability to add custom GIFs in chat (not sure if you can do this on z4pstream). Obviously it doesn't need to be a cytube clone, not saying that either. Just having a lil wonder lol.

At one point the cytube interface was open source, I made an attempt at installing back in the day. It was very complicated, looked hard to maintain

i was wondering if you can add some sort of nostr chat there, i know you can play about with the page there, but i also know nothing about how you can do that and what you are able to do. I suppose the point of having a nostr nostrasia stream there or whatever else, would be to attract an audience there maybe. (No idea how effective that would be, just entertaining the thought).

I can't imagine, the cytube peeps would be all that open to the idea. It would be cool to have more options beyond zapstream

I know on cytube you can embed YouTube videos which are synced and become unskippable or scrollable. You can have a playlist of videos, on some channels people can vote on whether to skip tho. Cytube allows for stuff like Simpsons, South Park 24/7 streams.
