You should be pissed. I’ve come to realize that many teachers and administration staff are unhinged and not fit to be near children. I would bring this to the school administrators and see if you get any peace there, but don’t be surprised if you don’t.

I guess some people are freaked about the tariffs. Good to pick up some relatively cheap sats it looks like to me.

This is pretty much how the RFK Jr. confirmation hearings went today and yesterday.

It’s easy to tell who big pharma has been paying. I was surprised at Sen Warren who seemed to be keeping her cool, but then she came unhinged later. Add another name to the list of big pharma payments recipients.

I really need to step away from this RFK Jr confirmation hearing. I have work to do. Tomorrow will be even worse with Kash Patel’s and Tulsi Gabbard’s hearings. Maybe I should take the day off.

This is great. I’m often telling people not to be afraid of screwing things up as that’s how you do some of your best learning.

Maybe I’m behind the times, but I’ve been toying with Copilot integration in VS Code for the first time today. I had it help me build a custom shell script for Proxmox VMs and CTs backups. The purpose is to send offsite recent onsite backups as backing up the entire onsite archive wasn’t what I needed. My offsite backup had grown to over 50 TB in size and was still growing so I decided there must be a better way especially since I only needed a fraction of that data offsite. I know shell scripting reasonably well, but the things I couldn’t quite remember I asked for help with and it came up with some pretty good suggestions and example code. The script is up and running and it does exactly what I wanted it to do. I’ll try some Rust programming tomorrow and see what it comes up with. So far so good, though. I can see the appeal for having this tech available. It definitely sped up the development time of this shell script. #ai

What do you mean “go harder?” Sometimes when I walk into a public restroom to take care of business, it sounds like somebody is really trying to go harder. This happens more often than I’d like to be subject to. These men need more fiber in their diets.

Today’s lunch. Turkey salad with berries and onions, and a balsamic glaze lightly poured over top.

Sometimes you just have to leave the kids at home and go out with the wife alone for some tiramisu.

That’s unfortunate. There’s always the chance that Kailee will be removed from that position eventually.

It was chilly out but the brake hose is replaced. Also had an oil pressure sensor that went bad so I replaced that today too. Fun times fixing cars.

One of my cars blew a brake line. It’s 3 degrees F out going down to -5 F overnight. I’ll fix it but fixing stuff in the cold isn’t much fun. Why can this happen when it’s 72 F outside?

Oh well. Just another day in the life. 🙂
