I want to auto control my s9 (#braiins os preferred) with my smart home
Does anyone have any experience or information how to start? I have seen a project on GIT hub where this function seems to be included. Maybe I have to „steal“ this part of the code and use it for my purpose.

After I received my s9 #miner 21 days ago I did a second test with #braiins os before on I installed silent fans.
To boot from SD card you need to
1. uninstall the front fan
2. you can now push the controller board cover forward until the Jumpers are accessible
3. set JP4 (JP2 should already be set)
4. mount the sd with Braiins preinstalled (and install the fan again)
5. connect network and power

Interesting. I just bought a very cheap fan adaptor but there are big gaps between the Fan and the housing caused by it. I just used electrical tape to „seal“ it.
The result is ok for my usecase.
20 days ago I received my new s9i #miner.
Here I started it up the first time with original #antminer #firmware . Now I am running it on #braiins and I have replaced the fans by silent ones.

Well Arkham has claimed they found 98% of the addresses of mstr. I haven‘t done any further research tbh.
Anyhow I think they somehow need to use custodians.
This is how it startet this year a foil tomato house 🙈. I have stabilized it with heavy wooden beams. But the wind broke it anyhow (3 times 😐). And the last time event the plant were damaged.

Well I think I found some of the root causes of the problems I had with the #browser #clients.
It seems you need to make sure use exactly the same #relay s if moving to another client. Especially if you are using a browser extension, it seems this can lead to issues from the beginning.
#Damus has an auto help function that told me the contact list is not available and it could reset it.
My follow list is now gone but at least I can use this account again

I haven´t found the time for an update the last days but I made some progress.
I have #electricity, a bus cable for #smart #home devices and #ethernet in my greenhouse.
I have also installed a very cool and flexible grow lamp.
But my "new" #S9 somehow got lost by the delivery company.
It says I have already received it. But I have been at home all day on the day of delivery and noone came on this day. And 2 packages are "lost".
Seems I don´t have much luck with my #miners 😄
Hope I have an update soon. Temperature is dropping.
Anyhow I will share a few photos soon.
I think most people today can run a node and without the limit it gets cheaper over time.
And I would assume they just can´t afford a node, because they don´t have Bitcoin.
But tbh I want a BTC where I can easily run a node for myself. And this would be in danger if we would increase the block size.
So for me it is no question if "any of the existing L2 techs or block size increasing".
It is just a question of "increasing the block size or not". For me it is not an option at all.
It´s not about anyone need to run a node. It´s about anyone CAN run a node.
That´s the major achievement of BTC. Noone needs to trust anyone. Sure you can if you want to.
It is important EVERYONE has the choice.
Increasing the block size, adds the possibility that this concept fails.
That´s why I don´t want the block size to increase.
I don´t say we have the perfect 2nd layer for now.
But I know I don´t want to add the requirement for trust to the main layer.

and my the malfunction s9 will be a separate project.
So this one I want to use to train my solder and hardware troubleshooting skills.
And I want to use it for project where I might kill it.
E.g. I wanted to try immersion cooling some day.
