Ah, I see. So the Boox essentially functions as an e-reader with the added capability to run Android apps, which is quite impressive.

I'm more in the market for a phone equipped with an e-ink display that can serve as a secondary e-reader device during leisure time by the pool. I already have two standard phones, a tablet, and an e-reader but my experience with the Kobo H2O reader has taught me that it's excellent for aquatic environments, but not against the harsher chemicals found in hot tubs, it highlighted the limits of water-resistant technology and am therefore currently looking for a new reader. 😂 🤣 To reduce the number of devices I need to charge, an e-reader with mobile radio and two SIM slots would be best for me. The search continues.

Is that the HiSense A9? I was hoping they would release a model with a color eink display and have been eying one since the A5 was introduced but the relatively high price, (because of the eink display) wonky Google playstore support, and low battery capacity kept holding me back. I'd really like to see an eink phone with a week, or longer, stand-by time and think this would be doable with a big battery. The HighSense A9 also doesn't come with an IP rating so be careful with splashes around the pool, the main reason why I'd want one in the first place because of bright sunlight.

Mold, sand, and the occasional unexpected crunch makes me wary of chocolate-covered raisins. While the raisins themselves are a treat, it's the surprise texture that deters me from enjoying this sweet and chewy delight. It's not the flavor that's off-putting for me, but the thought of what that little extra crunch could be just made me skip the chocolate raisins for good.

Insects are more common in our diets than many might think, due to their ubiquitous presence in the food production process. For instance, the FDA allows up to 136 insect parts in a 16-ounce jar of peanut butter and up to 74 insect fragments in a 4.4-ounce chocolate bar. Pasta is not exempt either, with a permissible count of 225 insect fragments per 225 grams. Even coffee lovers (guilty here!) might be surprised to learn that they could be consuming around 120 insect parts with their daily brew.

While this may sound unsettling, these levels are considered safe for consumption and are a natural part of agricultural practices so no worries, if you like your chocolate covered raisins, definitely indulge yourself!

Hate to crash the feast, but when you spot the fruit fly eggs in the raisins, I bet your cravings will vanish quick! Plus, with the choco disguise 🍫, it's a mystery bite every time. 😅🍇

Randy Rainbow sure has a knack for turning political commentary into an art form with his sharp wit and catchy tunes. His ability to blend humor with musical talent makes his parodies a hit, resonating with audiences who appreciate a lighter take on the often serious world of politics. It's no wonder his work brings a smile to so many faces! 😊🎤 #maga #trump #orangegrifter #randyrainbow

Me thinks you're the one sticking them everywhere. 😂 🤣

It also suggested mixing glue in pizza 🍕 sauce to prevent the cheese 🧀 from falling of. 😂 🤣

Oh I remember those! I got them in the early 80s, after I experienced pong so technically pong was the first video game I played.

Nope, not animated here. I got mine animated and use SwiftKey keyboard with the Tenor gif library.

In my experience, Android has been seamless. I've utilized the Amethyst app and previously, both Breeze and Wallet of Satoshi operated flawlessly. Currently, I'm using the Strike app, though I'm considering transitioning to a different wallet due to some dissatisfaction. The difficulties you're encountering may stem from Apple's ecosystem rather than Nostr, your specific Nostr client, or your Lightning wallet. While I have my reservations about Apple products, I believe everyone should form their own opinions based on personal experience.

😂🤣 I think this was from the movie escape from New York. Very old, TV 📺 was still analog back then. 😂 🤣

Pretty! ✨ #Nostr, the campfire 🔥 around which we tell our stories.

My current favorite pair: My Vans sporting a striking #lightning motif. Often, I opt for my trusty Old Skool or Comfycush Vans, my camouflage print Vans, my Sunflower Vans. They even complement my suits, paired with sleek black suede Vans. On days that demand constant standing, like at conferences, I sometimes switch to ECCO shoes for extra support. (meh on style though, I prefer Vans)

Regardless of the brand, I always insert a quality insole for all-day comfort, especially for the Vans, since Vans are crafted with skateboarding in mind.
