Japanese food portions are fun sized haha …

It’s funny when you go to a sushi band restaurant and you have a massive stack of plates and the locals sitting near to you have …. 3

So much FOMO right now …

The devastation that occurred in #Acapulco is truly something to behold as well as the terrible response our government is having.

About 1,000,000 have no water, food or services. Power restoration is at about 40%, 90% of buildings suffered massive damages, there’s desperation lootings and burglary… I could go on & on … it’s dire

There’s a media blockade so there’s no coverage (because the gov wants it like that) and word is not getting out.

I’m not leaving, but I’m gonna be inactive for a couple of days as I am helping out some drives which will take most of my time …

Please visit http://hurricaneotisrecovery.com/ it’s run by a well regarded person from the crypto community (I know & this goes beyond that) … DollarVigilante over at the bird app … and if you can and feel like it … donate … we’re gonna need all the help we can get … I’m not exaggerating when I say Acapulco was erased …

#HurricaneOtis #Mexico #Acapulco

There’s a whole slew of shit happening …

Humanitarian aid is being confiscated by the army so that any help that arrives comes from the ruling party … in al election year.

(They even stopped Red Cross convoys)

Our current government has been missallocating funds into unproductive white elephants. If the news become big, they have to divert resources to rebuild … they don’t want that. It also shows how hard they fumbled the emergency.

It’s been three days and there’s no reliable info at all about death tolls, damages, needs …

There’s no services, food, water or authorities … so basically Acapulco right now is complete anarchy …

I haven’t wanted to post about it because I don’t want to add to the noise … but the situation ir #Acapulco, #Mexico is dire …

There’s a media blackout so little images are getting out, but basically Acapulco was erased by #Otis …

Here’s a relief effort if you want to help …

Buenos días y PV Nostriches! ☀️

Tick Tock …

Oh! Also … toilets are a little bit different in Japan … you’re gonna have to kinda relearn how to use one & sometimes they talk …

Google Maps is your best friend while over there. The subway system is a little bit different (many different companies on the same hub / line) but once you get the hang of it, it’s all you need to come & go.

If you need data (who doesn’t haha), you can rent a WiFi puck at the airport for the duration of your stay

I suggest you read little bit about the districts. Each has its own “thing” … like Akibahara for electronics, manga & gaming, Harajuku which is the fashion distric etc

There’s waaay to much to see in Japan … don’t try to see everything on one go. Try to visit public spaces in unusual times if you want to forgo crowds …

(I went to see the Bamboo Forest in Kyoto at dawn so I could have it to myself for a few)

The Japanese are incredibly polite & will outdo themselves to accommodate you (sometimes even if they don’t understand what you want but you’re always a picture away from being understood). Honestly, one of the most visitor friendly places I’ve travelled to.

Enjoy Nostrasia … it’s definitely gonna be memorable

Here’s a very useful site with a lot of good info

Japan is amazing to walk around … so many new experiences to be had in every corner …

I have to read the season plots now … it’s been way too long … 😂

Great song & series! (until like Season 3 more or less) 😂

Little known fact … Bdays in Mexico last for as long as people want to celebrate you …
