Leverage, Everything fails when people get too greedy and take to much leverage. Try trading with 100x leverage and see how quickly you loose your shirt. Fractional reserve banking allows leverage. Banks using leverage are trying to become so big that they are too big to fail. That way they can reduce their risk.

I am a bit conflicted of what outcome I want from the SEC vs GBTC.
Current regulation by enforcement is so annoying and bad. However tthe GBTC spot ETF approval would dump the price of BTC and pump the ETF.
The pent up sell pressure on GBTC which accumulated during the bear market (as reflected in the GBTC discount) would be released onto the open market.
What do you guys think?
