The idea looks very attractive , I LOVE IT, however.... it turns out that I am curious enough to have invested many hours, days and months just to understand something as simple as what the heck is github? but that is the easy part, suddenly you find yourself fixing your Environment variables because you have followed a blind process with zero IT knowledge, then you learn there is a kind of thing called libraries that you should be carrefull with and wich happen to be outdated xD, you end up with a full and slow hard drive, you are not even clear what you have installed at this point or remember the commands you launched, and all this while you are also producing yout own music which is already as complicated as programming. im not exagerating, the level of details that you have to pay attention when you produce is very high if your goal is to sound good. So I cant imagine this becoming the first option of most musicians in the world, its sad, but thanks for sharing, Hopefully I find some time free one of this days and try to implement this in my own website, at least I will give it a try.

strong point, however the fact that I have to pay to distrokid or any other distributor around 40$ per year for ever to hold my music and in wavlake not, makes it the best option available for whoever wants to jump out of spotify dictatorship.

I agree with both points, I would even say that the criticism is respectable and I hope the Wavlake team receives it positively, since I doubt that they can guess all the possible concerns and ideas of improvement that will appear and hopefully can be implemented in a near future, in fact, the music of Wavlake is accessible via Fountain wich is a plus and I hope they always keep it, I am using wavlake pilot application and looks great, there is a good team behind it investing some time and effort.

And just in case, cuz im very new here and im still catching up and learning, apart from #wavlake what other nostr compatible option do we have? As far as i could find the next best option is Tidal? Not decentralized at all.

I wont be surprised that eventually as soon as spotify starts to consider Nostr a serious competitor they may implement the protocol in their services and if happens that by the time wavlake or any other option is not good enough to compite artists may jump back.

I mean the whole effort to convice people to stop using spotify after a decade is a big challenge.

I have uploaded a whole album to #wavlake and I have now a big task to convince other artists and friends to join the Nostr network, however one of the complains is... it seems like the share button is too original for some people to realize 🫣

I hope this could be considered a way to provide feedback like twitter used to be.

#Hola yo era un #artista en deterioro que con cada obra que compartía en las plataformas convencionales me iba apagando poquito a poco, no se si a alguno de los que estais leyendo le ha pasado que se ha dejado la piel durante la produccion de un nuevo proyecto para terminar publicando la cancion sin ningun tipo de estrategia de marketing.

Siempre he sido un rebelde pero han habido momentos en los que pense por un instante en convertirme en un robot, aplicar y adaptar los metodos en mi arte para robarle un ridiculo minuto de gloria al algoritmo.

Asi fue como saque la cancion que he adjuntado al final del texto.

Fue la primera vez que uno de mis trabajos logro pasar de las 10 autovisitas, tenia todo lo que algoritmo me pedia pero sin perder mi esencia.

El algoritmo me pedia controversia, politica, sangre, odio... yo se lo di todo, hasta llegue a darle mi direccion de hogar, porque google en esas fechas aun tenia total custodia sobre mi registro virtual en esas fechas.

Menos mal que abri los ojos y llevo 6 años limpiandome de todas estas dependencias centralizadas. que continuamente nos empujan a aplicar la ley del minimo esfuerzo.
