More bands should have totally badass websites. The Hives have such a cool, stylized website (the screenshots below don't even do it justice - the scrolling marquee at the bottom of every page is strikingly rad, even on mobile).
I just read their new updated bio page (https://www.thehives.com/biography) about their new album that's out next Friday, 'The Death of Randy Fitzsimmons' (the namesake of which is this mysterious dude who's supposedly written all their songs). It's their first record in 10 years and from the first few songs (a couple of which I've talked about here), wow. Beyond psyched to finally hear the whole thing next week.

Many are here from Twitter. I have no interest in Bluesky, it looks like crap. Jack and Elon suck, I want nothing to do with them. Plus yeah, the invites. No thanks. Here is nice. Someone said, if George Takei in his 80s can figure this out, ANYONE can. Plus, Bluesky and other places are gonna have ads and shouting "content creators", whatever the hell that is, and I want none of it.

But you're right, I try to really buy stuff that I really KNOW I'm going to listen to. For example, I've already put these 4 albums on my computer as FLACs and they're going to my phone next, for the car (the small amount I have to drive) haha

I've had it happen several times and I'm never trying for it, and I'm trying to follow people back, reply back, not be a snob, but it's so tough. Large celebs must have to hire out several people or a team or something. But uh.. there's some muting that has to happen if you want to enjoy your feed.

I had a couple get kinda crazy too, definitely had to mess with notifications, I like response notis so I can see who I need to respond to. But aside from that, I don't care about numbers on stuff. Because yeah, it can get SUPER overwhelming. FAST. It's not pleasant when it does, either, that's for sure.
It's Bandcamp Friday (all sales go directly to artists) so I finally grabbed all 4 amazing Ten High (https://tenhigh.bandcamp.com) albums - I mentioned em on here before. Whew- talk about an *underrated* underground band.
Again, I can listen to ALL FOUR of these albums ALL THE WAY THROUGH, which is INSANE. ALL of these songs are bangers (at least to me -- I'm picky, and this is some KILLER bluesy garage psych stuff). No idea how they achieved so many great albums. Some bands can't even nail ONE album correctly.
Unfortunately, Ten High is broken up, as far as I can tell, but two of the members are now in a project called Off Peak Arson (https://offpeakarson.bandcamp.com) which, admittedly (and wonderfully) sounds a LOT like Ten High.
