I'm a big Surfers fan from way back, was talking to nostr:npub1h3xvd9q0ydd839nc24ahv26r2cuxqt043yqv20cdfufanh72u7ss7x6m7c about em & remembered wifey recently bought me this book that came out a couple years back, 'What Does Regret Mean'. The book's great, it details a lot of their early shows, and has some cool art.
On the right is a reprint of an early zine they made that came with the book. That's the back, because the cover is GROSS (as are its contents). It consists of crude black & white collage art on some colored pages from a mix of sources, including nasty medical things. 😂

An ad for Crystal Quest on Game Boy from 1991. I first played Crystal Quest on a Mac Performa in the 90s, and had no idea it was on Game Boy until recently. But I had a chance to grab this version for cheap this past year, and it's a pretty good portable version!

Did a recent rewatch of this recently and it holds up. Disturbingly accurate as to what's still going on in the world today (and maybe has always and will always go on in the world, with corruption, greed, etc.)
A fascinating, terrifying film.
