Should I assume a key used for Damus on an iPhone to be compromised? I wouldn’t want to build the account and get rugged eventually. Even though I’d love to stay connected to the nostriches I’ve found so far.
How would a truly defensible nostr setup look like?
- Device specifically for using nostr
- Signing device
I’d like to eventually have different keys for different purposes.

Gm, friends. While I slept my iPhone updated Damus, removing zaps. I’ll be moving on to web applications. I enjoyed the user experience so far and would have preferred to stay on the client I got used to, but I must embrace the beauty of nostr and resist the power.

I’d say it depends on the ritual which follows if something is disrespected. It could mean war for all I know. If by not respecting you just mean not praying for or to them, that’s a different story. For example if one’s person belief is that eating children is right, I will not respect the belief and do my best to end the tradition. That starts by exposing it for its insanity and potentially fighting the tribe that tries to make eating children part of society. Some things can not be respected/accepted by certain religions. For christians there are certainly traditions deemed satanic.
It’s been pushing me for sure. Now that I got used to working this much, I realized I can achieve even more. Before I didn’t get how people work a lot and don’t get tired, but it can be learned. Never drank much anyways and don’t care for parties until I can celebrate retiring my parents.
