Reason I’m leaning towards Jade over this is the Anti-Klepto and Jade being fully open source. Also think #[3]​ is a hero and can be fully trusted

Post “Ledger-gate” I have purchased a Bitbox 02 (#Bitcoin only), Coldcard, and a Blockstream Jade. Researching the hell out of them all until they arrive. In terms of combining security and and UX, I’m leaning towards the Jade. Change my mind . . . .

Does Ledger have access to pass-phrases also?

Wouldn’t this then most likely to apply for all hardware wallet providers?

I’m doing the same thing. I’ve bought a Coldcard, and Bitcoin only Bitbox. Considering getting the Jade also and just researching the hell out of it until they get delivered.

In any case, I’ll definitely created a new seed phrase and spend the £100 in transfer fees - definitely not worth taking any risks

Going down the #btc security rabbit hole as I presume many of us are now. Are the benefits of air-gap overstated? Information transfer between hardware wallet and computer needs to happen whether they are connected by a wire or not? Anyone have any expertise here?
