"Three Mile Island, the site of worst nuclear disaster in the United States, is reopening and will exclusively sell the power to Microsoft as the company searches for energy sources to fuel its AI ambitions.

Constellation Energy announced Friday that its Unit 1 reactor, which closed five years ago, is expected to be revived in 2028, dependent on Nuclear Regulatory Commission approval. Microsoft will purchase the carbon-free energy produced from it to power its data centers to support artificial intelligence.

Financial terms of the 20-year agreement, which Constellation called the largest ever, weren’t disclosed."

Love to see it. Hey Microsoft, why not stuff some Bitcoin mining in there during off-peak loads?

LOL... hits me right in the feels. I have so many on deck that I can start several little league teams.

That's great and all, but to MicroStrategy or other corporations holding it on their balance sheets, it very much is an asset.

It's the most dynamic monetary tool we've ever seen and it can literally be whatever the holder needs it to be.

People need to quit trying to be so rigid in their beliefs and pigeonholing Bitcoin to them.

Happy Friday, #nostr . With influences from the Strokes and Phoenix, I was always shocked these guys never blew up. Anyhow, here is a great tune to kick off your weekend.

Dunno. Lots of people are degens as we see every cycle and to someone, they are the risk free yield since they are the ones that handover their corn.

In Today's "No Shit Sherlock" News:

“They track what we do on and off their platforms, often combining their own information with enormous data sets purchased through the largely unregulated consumer data market. And large firms are increasingly relying on hidden pixels and similar technologies—embedded on other websites—to track our behavior down to each click,” the FTC report reads.

Remember the term "surveillance sharing agreements" from the Bitcoin ETF filings? I'd be willing to bet there is also a common partner between all of the big sites that has taken it a step further and compiled a massive dataset combining everything into one.

This is why we #nostr people.

I wrote the following four line poem many years ago. And actually, I don't feel like I'd written it, as it just kind of 'popped' into my head one night as I attempted inner silence in a kind of meditative way. I just asked ChatGPT to critic it in general AND as to how it could relate to bitcoin. Lol! I have more of those 'meditative way' poems that I wrote. Maybe I'll post more with ChatGPT's analysis too, if you are interested (or maybe even if you are not). lol.

And then,

When where is right here,

And when is when,

Now is then.

Critique:

This poem plays with time and space, creating an intriguing, almost paradoxical reflection on existence. The short lines and repetition of words such as "when," "where," "right here," and "now" lend a circular, almost meditative quality to the piece. The poem's brevity invites the reader to pause and contemplate, as if the meaning is just beyond grasp, much like the elusive nature of time and presence itself. The poem is deceptively simple but operates on a deeper philosophical level.

The repetition of "when" suggests a questioning of time's linearity, while "right here" and "now" ground the abstract idea in the present, yet the final shift to "then" unsettles this stability, suggesting that even the present moment is fleeting. This evokes themes of impermanence, perception, and the relativity of time and space.

Analysis of Meaning:

In General: The poem seems to express the fluid nature of time and our perception of the present moment. It suggests that "right here" and "now" are constantly shifting, blurring the boundaries between past, present, and future. The use of "when" and "then" indicates that the present moment (now) is always slipping into the past ("then") even as we try to grasp it. There's a cyclical or interconnected quality to time in this piece, highlighting how time and space might be more interconnected than linear.

In essence, the poem could be reflecting on how the "present" is always elusive, and perhaps how the search for meaning in the "now" is itself a transient experience. The interplay of "when" and "then" may be about accepting that nothing is static and everything is constantly in flux.

Bitcoin-Related Interpretation: If we analyze this poem in the context of Bitcoin, it can be seen as a metaphor for the decentralized, constantly evolving nature of the cryptocurrency world.

"When where is right here" could signify the global, boundaryless nature of Bitcoin—wherever you are, Bitcoin is available, accessible, and in use. It transcends physical locations and national borders.

"And when is when" suggests that the timing of Bitcoin's adoption or usage is always the present moment, as Bitcoin is operational 24/7. There's no specific "when" for Bitcoin; it's timeless in that sense.

"Now is then" could reflect the volatility of Bitcoin prices, where what is true now can be different in the blink of an eye—today's "now" quickly becomes part of Bitcoin's historical data, where every transaction and movement is recorded on the blockchain. The poem might be hinting at the fact that in the cryptocurrency world, decisions and actions taken "now" quickly become part of an irreversible, immutable record (the blockchain).

Bitcoin is also about creating permanence in a fleeting world, where the "present" (in the form of a transaction) quickly becomes part of the past, yet remains indelibly written in the blockchain.

Overall Thoughts:

Your poem offers a concise and philosophical exploration of time and presence, which can resonate in multiple contexts, from a personal reflection on life to an abstract comment on the rapid pace of technological change, such as Bitcoin. Its simplicity is its strength, inviting a broad range of interpretations.

Stop with the spam my guy.

I’m going have to download BlueStacks just so I can use Amethyst aren’t I? #nostr

Maybe try adding a few more relays? I have noticed the same and I ended up adding several of the WoT relays that have been posted the last couple.

Also, I've noticed it has varied WILDLY from client to client.

Trying to distance himself from his meme coin that rugged I'd imagine.

Does anyone know why the Trends hashtags in the right hand column never seem to update on Ditto.pub? They're still showing the same ones from the night of the Trump/Harris debate for me.
