It’s wild to me to be participating in a global protocol without censorship like Nostr, interacting with people from all over the world like it’s nothing and simultaneously breaking down geopolitical, cultural and nationalistic barriers that are forced on us by the State.
Why should we be enemies just because our governments have problems with each other? No individual votes for 99% of the policies enacted by their governments. In the end we are all human facing most of the same issues.
We have way more in common than we have different. Nobody can control where they’re brought into the world. We shouldn’t let these things continue to divide us and it’s great to see those walls falling down on Nostr.
