As a card carrying leftie, that figure D paper position is not practical. You'd be pushing into the grain of the paper (with a fountain or dip pen) with every up stroke which is going to cause spattering. My paper position is more like figure C but a bit more anti-clockwise.
I'll be having a peruse through this bad boy when I get home from work. It's spiral bound and everything! 😀
