From the instant I saw Ordinals, my take was the same expressed by Casey Rodarmor to #[0] (around 2 hours in) that Ordinals make it very easy for a judge to understand that Bitcoin is communicative code protected by the first amendment. Not just commercial speech, but expressive and political speech entitled to scrict scrutiny (the highest level of 1A protection).
Legal game changer.

p2p marketplace LocalBitcoins is shutting down. Speculation is that it has come under heightened scrutiny from FinCEN due to its use as a conduit for funds from Bitzlato and Hydra dark marketplace. Centralized solutions are not sustainable.
