Nostr is the anarcho-communist protocol. It all makes sense now ;) BTW, great talk, really weird that it got censored. I guess HRF censorship board did not read any David Graeber stuff.
Can one generate random numbers trustlessly? If not the cartel can own the oracles and play the same game.
We just dropped a new self-custodial Bitcoin wallet. Early access details here: https://proton.me/blog/proton-wallet-launch
WTF?!? Is this retarded April the 1st joke?
My Nostr workshop yesterday almost had a fatal error! π¨ π¨ π¨
My wallet stopped heeding my NWC commands. Some quick action barely let me recover.
Purchase the workshop video for only $5: https://supertestnet.org/workshops.html?option=nostr
And sign up for next month's Cashu workshop! https://supertestnet.org/workshops.html
Can you tell us a bit about the conntent of the workshop? What topics did you cover?
#glyphs are bitcoin OP_RETURN only runes without inscriptions, compatible with nostr npubs and bitcoin taproot

Could you please elaborate on what kind of things can one do with glyphs?
90.3kb, but I switched phones recently.
I heard these guys had some experience with those nostr:nprofile1qqsfy229w70e8lgtxavlz9t78k06yrel6fxyhreteafqet8kfxhhwmgpzemhxue69uhk2er9dchxummnw3ezumrpdejz7qgcwaehxw309ahx7um5wghxvmt59emkj73wvf5h5tcpz4mhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuerpd46hxtnfduhssp9xuq
What would be a minimal investment required by Axiom? Can anyone be an investor or do they need a special financial status?
I am not so certain that is the only future. If you work in natural science today in probably any field, you are simply overwelmed by the number of new papers comming out every day. So this kind of tool can be quite useful to follow developments in sufficient detail, and still find time to work on your own stuff. On the other hand, it could help scientiest write more information dense papers and not waste their time on filler words, paragraphs, ad hoc motivation and similar, as no one will read those anyway.
On a positive side you are safe from lightning strikes inside an elevator ποΈ
Oh, is that a real teenage mutant ninja turtle? I'll be damned.
minibits also offers one. And I have not tried it, but I assume you can import the wallet to cashu.me also. So the only thing is that you have to open minibits app from time to time to collect the zaps.
I wonder if the hardware is the driving force here. Switch back to cloud computing could have also happened because of the success of the ad based profit model, and the 'free' services that came with that.
In theory yes, that is how it could work. In practice those tools still do not exist. I think that both hardware and thinking around LLM architecture has to change before something like that becomes possible. Still, can you even in theory do better than a centralized service with humongus computational resources?
Training an LLM on a phone is, at the moment, science fiction π
All those models were trained on centralized data. Just because you are running it locally those not change the data collection problem. Your local models are not able to improve with your local data, you still depend on centralized data collectors to improve them.
I am running it in a docker container on my synology NAS. No issues so far! However, I would like to know who is maintaining docker images as I have some questions π
Personalised and privacy preserving recommender system for nostr --- a federated algorithm of one for all and all for one type...but I doubt a single person could do it in 5 years π
What if people start spamming notes with edits?
Please send any issues you find on Amethyst to https://gitworkshop.dev/repo/amethyst
We are trying to move out of GitHub and use a Nostr-native GitHub alternative.
I am testing 'propose an edit' on this note π I see edited text and can revert to the original version. Would other people (using Amethyst) see the edits? How would one reject a proposal? What happens with multiple edits?
If one can polute wikifreedia with random stuff, that sounds real but it is not, what is the point of this? Who has time to dig through nonsense for useful information?
Why do you think it is an archive? DVM is a NIP for any data processing service.
Can anyone point their DVM at noogle? If yes, how would that work in practice? Are there any input output specs? The search request itself is not sent via nostr, right? At least it didn't ask me to sign anything π
