🤗I sure am thankful that these bankers are overseeing all of my dollar transactions and deciding whether they’re allowable. I am also thankful that they’re helping to debase my savings, because they tell me that inflation is good and debasement keeps me working to be a productive cog in the economy
The Jubilee Year. Thousands of years ago, people understood the dangers of debt slavery as they do today. The norm in the Middle East and Europe when a new ruler came into power, was for them to declare all debts void. This would happen every now and then during many rulers’ terms as well, as a society not laden with debt would allow for more prosperous and productive citizens. Banks have destroyed this power by taking the power of money creation away from governments. Remember, our central bank is not a government agency, but a collection of private banks who lend money into existence.
People don’t hate others because it’s in their nature. They hate them because they’re told that those others are to blame for their poverty and misery. Fix the poverty and misery, let a man produce enough so he can support a family, prevent destruction of money, and absolve the hatred.
Abraham Lincoln told us that threats to America would never come from abroad; they can only come from within.

Cognitive dissonance is pervasive in even the most well meaning communities. To advocate for human rights in one sphere but not in another, is inconsistent. If you subscribe to a rights-based ethic, you must strive to do so in the economic sphere, in the realm government obligation, in the foreign policy sphere.
A love of Bitcoin falls in the realm of tribalism if we do not strive to expand the ethic to all aspects of human existence. Advocacy for natural rights, constraints on war, equal access to opportunity, fulfillment of basic needs, inhibition of central austerity measures, and commitment to all life above some life, is the nature of Bitcoin.
Expertise is accumulation and implementation of the greatest body of knowledge.
Declaration of expertise is a process of credentialing that comes when authority injects permissions and rents between the body of knowledge and its end-user.

Banks loaning money into existence incentivizes people to borrow for the purchase of real assets (real estate).
They have amplified their market by reducing property taxes to leave more rents on the table to repay interest, by making mortgage interest tax deductible, and by allowing buildings and repairs to be depreciated over time. All of these are new developments, and all of these were designed into law by the finance industry to shift payments from the public tax base to banking profits.
Bitcoin demonetizes real estate
Antonopolous says it best:
Imagine all humans being able to buy a home for a reasonable amount of their life’s labor. They cannot right now…because banking policy monetizes real estate and entices speculators to push up value using borrowed money. That works as long as money gets cheaper and cheaper.
“Bad credit” means someone has been victimized in the past by lending practices that are solved by Bitcoin. People are lent what they cannot afford. They are bankrupted by medical expenses. They lose jobs do to deindustrialization. When fair money exists, the neoclassical concept of a morally degenerate “bad creditor” becomes far less common.
