“Neoliberal economics and its supporting ecosystem is simply a belief system, albeit one that has sustained unusually viral, imperial claims. It’s demise and replacement with another economic belief system, however, will only briefly suffice. Due to its historic and ongoing econogenic drivers, our options for acting within natural, social, and moral systems will keep changing, leading us into less known to totally unknown territory in all three systems and supporting culture. The democratic challenge is to acquire a widely shared public myth system that connects moral, social, and natural systems while also continually adapting to rapid change.”

…I think he’s really talking about the moral, social, natural, and adaptable public myth system of #Bitcoin
“Concentration of wealth leads naturally to concentration of power, which in turn translates to legislation favoring the rich and powerful and thereby increasing even further the concentration of power and wealth.”

“Any large scale human cooperation - whether a modern state, a medieval church, an ancient city or an archaic tribe - is rooted in common myths that exist only in people’s collective imagination.”

The US has an incredibly extensive history of using gangs and local militias to foment insurrection and undermine government policies that it finds unfit for its corporate interests. Usually these appear when a leftist government comes into power and tries to enact policies that limit the sale of resources or public utilities to foreign corporations (US corporations), or that tries to push back on austerity measures imposed upon the country by US banks through the IMF. How dare the governments of third world countries consider that their resources should belong to their own people?
All this is possible when one controls the greatest military and the world’s banking system.

Bitcoin is amplified in value by use-cases, but it embodies an underlying amount of energy that gives it a form of exchange value only duplicated by commodities. Corn, gold, and gas have human labor and energy requirements that cannot be falsified and that are consistent around the world. #Bitcoin takes the same amount of energy to produce anywhere.
Established market “authorities” will always seek a legal structure that provides them a competitive advantage and closes the door behind them.
#bitcoin evens the playing field
In Plato’s cave, men were chained and spent their lives interpreting the shadows on the wall… mere representations of the moving figures behind them. Unable to turn and face the truth, they lived by myth and prejudice. Only when their shackles loosened and they were free to turn about and examine the world hidden behind them were they liberated from their cognitive bondage.
Bitcoin is loosening chains and liberating people from an imposter existence of debt servitude, the exploitative use of capital, and oppressive governments.
Bitcoin transactions cannot be banned. A transaction is simply the exchange of some information about a coin’s whereabouts, which can be communicated as a long number, as twelve words, as a string of emojis, as a drawing, as a group of notes, etc.
To ban Bitcoin is to ban communication: to ban writing, to ban speaking, to ban drawing.
“Spreading democracy” is a euphemism for enacting foreign governments that are complicit with US foreign policy interests.

“the West faces the dreadful prospect that it could become the standard-bearer of a new regime type: a socially totalizing, surveilling, information-monopolizing, biopolitical, and martial regime disguised in the feel-good casing of liberal democracy”

Charles Fourier anticipated the third and last emancipatory phase of history, in which the proletariat would transform into free men by the elimination of the commodity character of labor, by the end of wage slavery, and by bringing commercial and financial institutions under democratic control.
Bitcoin is part of this emancipatory phase. Fourier on Bitcoin (1772-1837)
“…freedom is not an abstract philosophical concept, but the vital concrete possibility for every human being to bring to full development all the power, capacities, and talents with which nature has endowed him, and turn them to social account. The less this natural development of man is influenced by ecclesiastical or political guardianship, the more efficient and harmonious will human personality become, the more will it become the measure of the intellectual culture of the society in which it has grown.”

The best education about Bitcoin doesn’t mention Bitcoin. It arms you with an understanding of a broken social system, of which a broken economic system is but a symptom.
The shift from industrial capitalism to finance capitalism over the past 70 years has disrupted our ability to care for the needs of our citizens, or to participate within the global community in a just manner. Bitcoin is a a tool for classical economists to push back on this transition, and to empower laborers to preserve their work energy and to liberate themselves from oppressive capital structures.
"..we have reached a new level of deception, one that convinces us to do whatever it takes to promote a corrupt system that widens the rich-poor gap through fear, debt, and policies that constantly expand materialist consumption and advocate dividing and conquering anyone who appears to oppose us. These deceptions will lead to our own destruction.”

Block party tonight at my house!
Oh yea…we’re all anon here
Absolutely. I am also thankful that the powerful see my personal rights as subservient to their responsibility to control the world around me. I can no longer imagine making a call without the comforting quiet of the NSA listening in…or walking through an airport gate without having my nuts fondled. Free people just don’t understand how comforting it is to cede one’s liberty to the powerful for the promise of protection from terrorism…or viruses…or aliens…or children’s’ balloons. That stuff scares me, because I’m told that it should!
Hello Brother. What sort of penalties did you incur when you liquidated your 401k? Or…we’re you able to pull one of the allowable excuses and get our without penalty?
Good for you
