Nope, you can view one tweet at a time with a direct link to the tweet. Without logging in, you can’t see replies, context, threads, or profiles. Still totally useless and borked. Can’t browse or search at all while logged out. Not even the limited browsing that used to be possible before this started.

Seems like you can view an individual tweet with a direct link to it, but won’t see any replies, and you can’t view a profile without logging in either. So still completely useless and unusable with an account (which may yet be rate-limited anyway).

I guess that’s what the journalists meant by “not needing to log in,” you can click on individual tweet links and see the individual tweet. But there is no way to discover any content at all without logging in, or to view feeds or threads.
