Hey lawyers, does “suspending” a political campaign have any significant implications, legal, financial, or otherwise? Or is it just thought of as better than telling supporters, “Fuck this, I’m out.”
That’s been tried again and again. The problem is, progressives are some of the laziest political activists there are. Most don’t do anything at all no matter how big the threat (pro-abortion excluded). And they sure don’t like to sacrifice much. The cables simply don’t care. They have weathered several actions already. Only hammering sponsors works. That’s all that ever works. But we don’t do that well either. I speak from experience.
