Not that I have much experience onboarding but I would actually send them through the primal route. Easy onboarding and a quick wallet setup. Then they can get more technical as they go from there and move to other wallets and freedom tech and go as deep as they like.

Only thing keeps me hesitant when buying any btc merch or hardware is not feeling confident about privacy around mailing and the paranoia around it.
I know there's ways, PO boxes, General Delivery addresses. Still those things get complicated and someone at some point touches your mail and knows where its going or hands it to you. Gotta get over so much shit.

also, if you want qubesos to run well, max out your ram 16 GB min, pref 32 GB min, and get at least a 1tb ssd internal drive
