i thought it was an amusement park

soy sauce is insanely concentrated. you gotta be extremely careful with it. added a single teaspoon to a soup with 500g of liquid in it and it was a bit too much.

for the record: mastodon.social does not block us (berserker.town). neither does several other quite popular instances.
usually, it's smaller instances with admins who are a bit too block happy who do it, in my experience.
one of the first things to do when moving to an instance is to check who they block. tells you a lot about who runs it.
how to save money: never go outside. eat boring food. never buy new stuff. never travel. just pretend you're in prison.
nostr:npub1v7t4yx9vxtv3mat0hdsduuym4fvjd5dzmdlh82ssa40phr965h2s2lck6k i'd really just like to live in a cozy small town where these options exist though, but with how humans work, that's impossible

*scrolls through phone notifications* why is it full of notifications from government and business, and not friends who want to say hello ðŸ˜
i hit a nerve

using public transportation is a debt you owe in a way - it's not really there to make your life easy - the government expects productivity in return, at least on the long term on average - so it is something that is handed to you with the expectation that you'll make that money back through taxes.

The Simple Habit That Saved My Failing Music Career

i'd love to do videos where i show and tell like this, but i don't have the charisma for it. i'm not a person people walk up to very often.
nostr:npub1n9wn3yts2zylwq4c6alkjva8u6p66c59gfcu93m0kjduaax7t3squc09hh i'm often melancholic and resort to unhealthy habits to cover it up
i wonder if the little preamp in this fretless bass could be upgraded. it seems to have a fair bit of hiss. if there is an op-amp in there, maybe it could be replaced with a low-noise one with matching pins. and while i'm in there, maybe i could make it 48V phantom powered, since it has an XLR output.
nostr:npub1fxnt0flf8gkd0ddk0yrxlgh6rdfqf4ny9t6yme2v39fu8dj5z4cq30l0n5 i find myself dialling down the treble and presence on the little built-in EQ for what i'm playing right now. it resembles an acoustic guitar and i think it uses a piezo pickup, because it has a pretty crisp sound.
nostr:npub1fxnt0flf8gkd0ddk0yrxlgh6rdfqf4ny9t6yme2v39fu8dj5z4cq30l0n5 i'm fairly new to this instrument. the strings it came with appear to be round. i have a some experience with the electric bass but was never an expert. people say good things about the flat wound strings. i don't know what they sound like.
Big Mosquito strikes again

ages after putting fairy lights on the balcony, i found a way to fasten them. i used some wire that i twisted, and attached them to the cat protection net.
when the drama strikes you, you're kind of glad people's attention spans are so short
