when you live alone you "have a system" for everything so when you have a guest it's a bit of an adjustment.
why do people have this habit of throwing everything in the sink? in my experience you just end up with a clogged drain.
having a TV on in the same room as me is distracting, even without sound on, because my eyes are drawn to stuff that moves and flickers.
screen habits of my guest: always streaming some kind of show. doesn't own a smartphone. the floor space i normally use for my chair is occupied by him at night and my computer is now his TV. my place is small enough that if two people had to share this place permanently, there would need to be a bunk bed.
