the term "neurodiverse" is supposed to cover ASD and ADHD but its primary usage appears to be ASD when i search the hashtags. it gets tossed in by a lot of people who are talking about autism and want to be inclusive, but people with ADHD don't do the same thing, so in practice, it ends up being another name for ASD.
some hashtags are too polluted or generic to follow. you kind of have to be sure to pick ones that are very specific to your interests. for example, the "psychology" hashtag is full of stuff that isn't really psychology but the "ADHD" hashtag is less spammy because it's more specific.
the phenomenon of functional fixedness in psychology is interesting:

you get more of it as you age.
a skilled programmer, hacker or sysadmin essentially unlearns this for technology. if you think too rigidly, you end up in analysis paralysis and can't do your job.
childlike mentality is useful for many creative fields such as music and design too. breaking the rules and conventions is often how you get interesting results.

choosing something like an Apple product is often framed as excessive luxury or a fear of technology but there are other reasons than that and they're incomprehensible to the sort of person who loves Arch or Gentoo.
the way they sell Norway in tourism and cuisine is like "come here, live like a viking, eat seafood like a king, climb a mountain like an adventurer" and if i was a tourist, i wouldn't even be interested in that. what i look for are creature comforts and interesting people.
Norway is a really great country if you're the outdoorsy type, which i am not, lol

it's kind of funny when people argue over the best OS without ever asking "for what purpose?" because computers are tools and you need to use the right one for the job

#Element (#Matrix chat client) on mobile needs to fix replies for images. it only shows the image name someone replied to.
i don't even know what the image name is when i upload from my phone. it gets assigned some random sequence of letters.
