i've trained my mind so well on suppressing feelings of regret, grief and embarrassment that i have a hard time feeling those things even when appropriate. i suspect 90% of my executive function is caught up with controlling my own emotions.
had the "fall in love" system tested for the past week or so. it's still working. almost thought i had lost that ability. nope. just has to be the right kind of person. main reason it only lasted a week was age gap.
