Got it, thanks. Looks like I have about a $1.50 in sats.
I can't find them. Admittedly my brain is a little fried. I can't chat in them when I send messages no one replies. The nostrholics anonymous one doesn't work for me. I've been trying to get my friends to join Nostr but I need to actually like it myself before I can recommend it to them. 😂
If you don't need therapy then, don't pay for it. I have gotten a lot of good out of certain books specifically ones talking about cognitive behavioral therapy. I'm not going to knock those authors transformed and greatly improved my life. You remind me of the metal heads, Jake. They tend to be very anti "getting help". They think it's a sign of weakness if someone admits they have a problem and or gets any sort of professional help for mental illness. Thinking too far that direction is toxic, just like thinking too far any direction is toxic. Extremism in all its forms is the epitome of evil.
My thoughts on the Fountain app: would be a great way to earn sats if you listen to a lot of podcasts. Unfortunately it didn't work for me because I didn't want to be so tied down to listening to podcasts. I shared a few constructive criticisms, it took the makers two to three months to get back to me if I remember right. If you want to earn sats and listen to a lot of podcasts, Fountain might be right for you.
Thanks Tamarack for zapping me! Zapped you back. Nostril nerds: are the zaps SATS? How many SATS to get a Bitcoin?
Thanks for zapping me 50, I think it was you, I'm still so new at this Nostr. I zapped you back.
What kind of posts can I earn zaps for on here? After a while of being on Nostr everyone stopped zapping me. Am I supposed to give zapps to others and trade them, how does this all work? Nostriches, please weigh in. Maybe someone who works on this site could improve it, there are a lot of complaints I have about this platform. Call me old, but I find it difficult to navigate, and impossible to chat with people. No shade, just understand I struggle with a lot of internet and social media things, it could be me. Could my followers please weigh in? Only thing I will not post is sexy pics: I'm a happily married woman. I specialize in mental health topics, but have many interests I could post about.

A few thoughts about suicide from someone who suffers from extreme rapid cycling bipolar 1: what everyone else says about suicide is: things will get better, just hang on, hang in there, don't kill yourself: now you don't know what life will be like later.
To some extent, that is true. I am glad I didn't kill myself in 2017 before my life began to get better. Suicide to me is like the grown up version of a temper tantrum: it's my way out in case life gets unmanageable and intolerable. I have made a commitment with myself to never do it, because my life is not just about me, it's also the ripple effect of what that action would do to others. Suicidal actions are never an option for me.
Anyone who suffers from suicidal thoughts, I urge them to please not act on them. I would not advise the normal medical system approach of checking yourself into a hospital unless that is something you want to do, and you feel would help you. The the mental health system is not what made me overcome my suicidal urges. The mental health system is a little more than a way for big pharma to pump suicidal people full of drugs that will make them forget everything. I'm more concerned about is changing suicidal actions from the inside out without the use of drugs. No shade against those who rely on psychiatric meds, but my specialty is changing the brain structure and building a happier brain from the ground up.
To anyone who is seriously contemplating suicide it is true that someone somewhere has been touched by your life. Even if all your relationships are toxic, even if you don't have children, removing yourself prematurely from the equation will upset the natural order of the world. There are people who would be completely heartbroken if you kill yourself.
The way we think changes the physical structure of our brain. My depression has largely been overcome by simply changing the way I think. Which in turn leads to fewer despairing and suicidal thoughts. I recommend everyone looking to cognitive behavioral therapy. A lot of information is free with a quick Google search or YouTube search.
For those bipolar warrior struggling, I see you. We all see the bipolar illness differently, I see it as a challenge to overcome and not an impossible hardship. Much love and peace ✌️
Got to meet two of my biggest YouTube idols today, Jonathan Young and Caleb Hyles!!!!
