It appears you are trying to lead the revolt and bring your favorite people to Bluesky leaving the rest on Nostr. Only the faithful will follow. The social media averse, such as myself, will not easily be convinced to make a new social media account. I'm the last person I ever thought would have a new social media after leaving Facebook. Definitely never saw myself using cryptocurrency in any way.
I don't have the focus or discipline to actually make money on Nostr.

I'm still going to the Lutheran Church. Discovering all this now is so interesting. Introducing Bible to our homeschool program was definitely different, but my almost 9 year old is an age where he really needs it. I didn't even realize how secular I had become until I started talking to you more about this. My spouse's family is split not down the middle, but instead only two out of 10 siblings still profess faith in Christ. None of that should ever have mattered to me. I shouldn't have allowed myself to be so influenced.
I told this exact thing to our father, in different words, the other day. I bought a Bible in the newer translation, first time I ever bought a Bible. My Bible had been a King James that I acquired from my parents circa 2004. About the Modern English Version. My spouse has a New American Standard Bible, but I needed one of my own. I had some questions about the veracity of the different translations that our father was able to answer.
I read 12 rules for life a few years ago, Mt female sibling advised me to read it. Good book, I have begun making my bed every day. The habit is permanent.
