Why are people afraid of holding the CIA accountable for modern MKUltra operations?

This is a good point

While I support widespread bitcoin adoption

We often forget how nuanced the struggle really is for serious adoption

Its not as simple as accepting fiat and we need to fix that

I would like to direct the attention of the Democrat party members who are reading my posts to the definition of Seppuku:

"Seppuku (切腹, lit. 'cutting [the] belly'), also called harakiri (腹切り, lit. 'abdomen/belly cutting', a native Japanese kun reading), is a form of Japanese ritualistic suicide by disembowelment. It was originally reserved for samurai in their code of honour, but was also practised by other Japanese people during the Shōwa era[1][2] (particularly officers near the end of World War II) to restore honour for themselves or for their families.[3][4][5]

As a samurai practice, seppuku was used voluntarily by samurai to die with honour rather than fall into the hands of their enemies (and likely be tortured), as a form of capital punishment for samurai who had committed serious offences, or performed because they had brought shame to themselves." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seppuku

Bitcoiners love to say the government is bad, until the government supports bitcoin, in that case everything that government does is clearly correct and infalable and shouldnt be questioned. Who cares about reports of false incarcerations of innocents, bitcoin bro!

nostr sucks but I dont hate it

its kindof like an old radio, but its new

My main concern about Bitcoin is the way supporters are given an inch and take a mile, making assumptions like "Bitcoin WILL replace the Dollar"

"Bitcoin WILL end the credit system", a huge issue with this is it inspires complacency. People love the idea that they don't have to contribute to anything, and that it will all work out anyways. However reality is consistently informing us otherwise, that we need to be vigilant to protect things that we care about. If the public position is that you don't need to worry about it, my position is that you must worry about it DEEPLY. And actually DO something about what you are worried about! Sitting by saying "Bitcoins gonna do this and that" doesn't cut the cake.
