Pura vida! Do better than your average over the last month.

“Dumb” is a relative and subjective term. All relays will be dumb.

They can do their own thing with nostr. Just not with Damus apparently.

git already lives off github, the context around git and other repos is what GitHub controls.

It's centrally controled. If they wanted to censor certain code, they could.

Not replacing git. Just GitHub. Git is already decentralized tech.

First MVP. Comments on a PR.

Gotta grab the diff and display it, then create more events tagged with line numbers and such. NIP-10 everything and see where it goes.

🤔

It is one of the OG decentralized techs enabling code collaboration across the world.

Writing a GitHub replacement built on nostr. Need to execute some git stuffs so learning about Hunks and various git primitives.

So many possibilities.

Well put. Having a post-level relay setting seems very applicable.

All these people wanting all the relays to talk to each other.

i'm over thinking there should be targeted topic/community relays.

You like cats? Cool, join the feline relay.

Bitcoin? Relays of only Bitcoin plebs.

Your relay choice is almost like an ad profile of what you're into. I think this will happen over time, but everyone right now just wants an exact clone of Twitter. That's just one small (albeit important) use case for nostr and I look forward to seeing innovation around relay connection/setup schemes.

Using sourcehut and emailing patches to a repo and I feel very hackerman. The simplicity and utility of it all is so beautiful.
