There might or might not be a weakness in the whirlpool design, but it is without doubt that those guys put everything on the line for our movement and are operating from a good place.

Do you think the same was true for the old coordinator ran by Samourai? What about the existing Wasabi coordinators?

Mixing does not rely on a Dojo, and the guys behind Ashigaru don't run a Dojo themselves. So there is none the feds can take down.n

Also, everything is Tor based, no dependence on DNS whatsoever.

I don't think anybody is expecting to run Electrum 24/7? Shame it works like Phoenix with route finding delegated through trampoline routing.

Given the compute available on desktop I would much rather have it do route finding locally like Zeus does. Would be a massive privacy win.

No if your channels are with Zeus LSP and so is your counterparty then Zeus is routing that payment and they know who paid who how much.

I think we all underestimated how much lightning and ETFs would lead to empty blocks.

Tail emission is basically fine if implemented from the start, but I don't see how it can be introduced to bitcoin post genesis.

This is indeed the best setup short of running your own node. Zeus still knows when you pay or are paid by another zeus LSP user however.

Yes but it will also propably maintain its purchasing power. Good store of value, good MoE, not a good investment.

If you have multiple outputs you can combine them two at a time at random intervals until you end up with 1 output. Then churn that a few times. I keep all my monero in one output.

Monero and dollar bills are *functionally* fungible. Gold is fungible when melted down or in coin form.
