What the French did with their productions of Alexandre Dumas’ books is incredible. They keep the movie locked into their country and only visible in Pathe.

I loved the first two about the Three Musketeers. One of my favorite stories. And now Le Compte Monte Cristo..

I must have watched the previous version of this film 50 times. Even the olders ones are awesome.

The story is just so good. But this new version of this film is off the hook. You get to see the most beautiful depictions of French historical buildings and all sorts of artisanal masterpieces. Next to the fact that the entire thing feels like a pure attempt of creating something epic that can possibly become a classic.

Must watch! When it comes out of France next summer 😂
