Yea I agree, this is utter evil. But just because we have fiat systems extorting people - it doesn’t solve anything to “I won’t support or buy anything from someone I deem too rich”. This way you will always misallocate your resources by definition. Because the best entrepreneurs should actually be rich. This looks like the envy trap that fiat brings along with it. Not saying every rich person is a good entrepreneur.

The o3 model makes language learning work. Very cool experience. What works best for me is seeing the spelling and hearing it. I use voice mode on your phone and read along on the desktop app. The latency on the desktop app is still low though.
Yes, we got swamped in AI hype. But with this I clearly dare say that the new google gemini pro 2.5 with deep research is a desk researcher and consultant in your pocket.
This is the time where you underestimate the capacity and velocity of these tools. I did.
Don’t sleep on it, do one query.
It will be crucial for people to have, run and own their AI and data. But the frontier capabilities are proprietary now and it’s worth it to learn from it.
Lets make very sure to build the open source and self-hosted AI tools.

Why? Because Spotify is dropping the ball completely. The app seems to be disintegrating by the day. Media doesn’t load, sudden cut offs, terrible lags. Unfortunately I regularly get the same problems with Fountain but they have a chance to go beat them at least for podcasts.

Clicking through apps, files and windows will be looked at like this in three years max. A lot sooner for the early adopters because the future is here. It’s just not evenly distributed.
