You’re welcome. I think self hosting options are definitely coming to Umbrel and similar OS’s/tools and I think it’ll be more of a one click install and some configuration and tuning for the DB. I think it’s certainly possibility for a quick setup.

The incentive I believe are:
1) As user base grows, spam may increase in feed or DM's. Joining and adding only paid relays may help prevent most of that.
2) You help keep the relays running to cover costs of running it and get access to content/events/notes shared by others without the hassle of setting one up yourself.
I will write one up soon in my guides. But basically the benefits are a possibility to pay a one time fee and/or a few per content posted. This should help keep the spammers away as they would need to pay to post or pay to join and post.
