Some apps support webm https://github.com/nostrability/nostrability/issues/83

It is work to support various standards. There is wider support for other standards that do the same job.

Sadly, Primal doesn't seem to support webm, at least not their ios app (maybe desktop/android?)

Haha wow... hopefully just an isolated incident 😅

Anyone running the Avalon Q? #AskNostr

But the video played for you?

Why would you even be so retarded to claim such a thing lol. Probably why ChatGPT is the worst model of them all. https://decrypt.co/333858/openai-jailbreak-proof-new-models-hacked

I don’t see how it can possibly go to ~98fps lol 🤔

It is using the avc1.640034 codec for mp4

wtf… is it like this in any other client ?

Yes.

Hmm that’s strange.

If you could ever send me the uncompressed copy of one (through a dropbox or wetransfer link or something else), I would love to use it to test how it goes on Plebs. The current algo I am using should see a 3.5GB file compress down to 75-85MB.

MediaRecorder API... directly in the browser 😅

I plan to do my best to incrementally build out many similar features as what YouTube offers. I truly want Plebs to be the greatest decentralized video platform to ever exist.

That’s coming, will allow up to 5GB, but if haven’t done your own compression down to 100mb, it will handle it for you.

Why's that? I am running 6 at the moment lol. As long as you don't overclock with the wrong PSU, their temps stay within normal operation.

lol

Is this real? lmao... I would have loved to sit in on this pitch by the marketing team

Your video of almost 1hr recorded from a livestream seemed to do well on Plebs with blossom servers. I very rarely see videos longer than an hour on YouTube unless they're a podcast, a recorded show episode, or some repeat nature scenes. What possible video would be 5GB unless it's raw and uncompressed?

Dude even the critical drinker liked it

Not all blossom servers are capped at a 100MB upload size limit, only some. Albeit, some do start to struggle with handling larger file sizes, I think as a result of hash calculation? But, I could be wrong on that and I think nostr:npub1ye5ptcxfyyxl5vjvdjar2ua3f0hynkjzpx552mu5snj3qmx5pzjscpknpr is working on optimizing the protocol for handling larger files.

Someone needs to build a Nostr-powered alt of Steam where games are paid for using zaps and the game files are distributed across blossom servers.
