I think i'm the first european that is trying to live in a bitcoin standard. Itโs very very hard to do in europe due to insane regulation, and very low adoption. But nevertheless - im doing it nostr:npub1cn4t4cd78nm900qc2hhqte5aa8c9njm6qkfzw95tszufwcwtcnsq7g3vle style - converting everything to sats, and living on creditcard.
Interesting, I'm using Fold Card and selling bitcoin before every purchase to fill the card. They give % back in bitcoin on lots of different purchases, might be US only.

I've been using Tome (https://www.drupal.org/project/tome) on my personal site for the past two year (I haven't touched my site for the most part during that time but that's unrelated). Due to some stupidity on my part I lost my database, I was able to restore my website and all it's content with the tome import command. That's super useful. My site it still running drupal 9, had issues upgrading but only HTML hits the server so I'm not sure it matters.
Hoping this year will be more conducive to actually using my site.

Super excited to learn more about meshtastic. Been trying to convince friends/family we need something like this. We live in FL and we got very lucky the past two hurricanes but it's not unreasonable to think cell service goes down too in a situation like that.
I would assume the same way people get paid now, meaning some type of contract that says pay me 50% now and I will complete work by date and then pay me rest. Obviously some people won't pay or won't write the article but that's the world of contract work. Maybe there's a cool way to do a Bitcoin Smart Contract in that scenario though.
