First baby boy has been here now for a little over 24 hours. My early take:
Parenting isn’t hard and babies are funny and chill. That might be more a testament to my temperament and emotional state - I’m not sure.
They only cry because they can’t articulate things yet, and hearing a baby wailing really loud and cry isn’t stressful or annoying at all, imo. I literally put in my AirPods and listened to the new Rogan pod while I rocked baby boy to sleep and he was adorable lol.
Diapers aren’t bad. You just need to be quick so you don’t get peed on.
Having kids is cool because they’re literal programmable piles of mush who grow in intelligence really fast. 😂…I highly recommend it. 🙏
