morning #nostrplebs 🌞
Try watching local news over holiday break with family 😱
When non-bitcoiners hear me say I’m passionate about bitcoin, I think they misinterpret what I’m saying.
Sure; I’m passionate about bitcoin. Why? Well the real reason is because I’m really passionate about equity and social justice, how it separates money from government, creates prosperity, equal access, bottom up, human flourishing. So I talk more about what I’m passionate about and then add, “oh, btw, bitcoin does THAT.”
#twitter makes me angry, negative
#damus makes me happy, hopeful

Back from holiday travels. I never want to travel through US airports again during the holidays, what a shit-show!
What did I wake up to?? this new build is sick!! 🤙🏻
One of my goals for 2023 was to write more and publish articles regarding bitcoin…contributing where I can, what I can.
Well I’m delighted to say that is already becoming a reality. Dropping this Sunday, 1/8 via Bitcoin Magazine: Bitcoin is Hope for Gen Z
LETS GO! 🤙🏻 #happynewyear #bitcoinishope
Wasabi wallet is getting better and better as well for more privacy via coinjoin. But yes what Bradley said!
Udi says don’t self-custody because people are too stupid, which is just incorrect
Bitcoin-maxis say self-custody with complex ultra-private purity testing which many people are too intimidated to pursue initially.
These are not the only two ways…
I started with muun when I was first getting into bitcoin, and I still use it to this day. Then transitioned to trezor, multi-sig and beyond.
I second checking out the PlebDev course. It's going to be good to get started with a bitcoin focus. If you want to refresh your knowledge and learn more on React I'd highly recommend https://www.udemy.com/course/the-complete-web-developer-zero-to-mastery/ on Udemy too.
Saving all of these, you guys are the best!
You could expand that HTML and JavaScript knowledge into React knowledge, IMO, and help do front end work on apps for Nostr and Bitcoin. Udemy has several courses on React. Bitcoin itself is written in C++. Udemy again is good resource.
For React you could take the PlebDev course to get started. It's very basic, but good fundamentals. https://www.udemy.com/course/pleblabaustin/
🙏🏻 this is great!
We are in far to many positions to “trust” humans and their flawed decisions in the United States. Our government is run by flawed humans. Internet protocols, such as bitcoin and nostr, do not require that same trust. It’s open, verifiable, closer to the original intent of the scientific method than anything else on this planet. This is the future…flawed decisions of man are of the past.

What are some examples of online courses one could take to learn more about bitcoin coding fundamentals? I have no coding experience other than some basic html, JavaScript from years ago.
Already had many many conversations. Starts small and then goes in a million different directions (most times having to convince people “blockchain” should NOT be the focus 😂 ). #[4] is also another great dude in that nonprofit/ngo space on here!
Let me know if y’all need anyone with a nonprofit management background 😂
But seriously, love everyone’s varied backgrounds in this bitcoin/nostr ecosystem
Yeah what a rough deal. Honestly I’ve been heartened by many bitcoin and crypto folks on twitter that, instead of piling on and telling him he fucked up (which he knows he did), are jumping in a lending a helping hand if possible. That’s the type of community we want to foster 🤝
