The M2 money supply in the US has been decreasing for 9 consecutive months now (as of April).
This marks the longest period of consecutive monthly decreases in M2 since 1959.
Furthermore, the year-over-year decrease for April was the largest in history, reaching -4.6%.
On the other hand, the M2 in Japan reached an all-time high in April. 😮💨
