People should stop looking to D.C. to fix their issues and rather make efforts on their own and with their family and friends to make their situations better. D.C. has never and will never care about the people. It's been made abundantly obvious at this point.

Old people seem to want to claim youth even when youth is long gone from them. I wish older people would seek and speak wisdom as much as they seek and speak of youth. You can do so much good with wisdom.

Just my view and it is correct that I don't know what it's like to be old so it is very possible I'm missing something.
