I think I'm just getting worn down by life and the news and everything, and then I come on the internet and it's just more "imagine what the media would say if whites were the ones doing _______" or retards talking about money and how they're totally gonna get around the government's taxes by outsmarting them.
I can't imagine how awful and empty it must be over on Twitter or Facebook. Endless rage directed at the thing du jour, forever and ever, to no end and with no effect. The beast marches on.
I think I'm getting disillusioned about social media in general. It seems like the only point is to waste time and complain about things while waiting for the world to collapse.
Or ask for "zaps," apparently.
I'd consider destroying my fedi instance if
1. Nostr clients were as good
2. Nostr posters were as good
Both of these can be fixed, and I could even help, but I debate whether it's worth investing my dwindling amount of energy.

Look at this. Your brain is so steeped in currency that you can't step away from it.
I tell you that people here can't talk about anything other than cryptocurrency, no matter what kind, and then you go and prove my point.
It has a lot of potential, but the userbase is absolute F-tier trash in terms of having anything useful to say. I have not once seen a conversion in the wild here about
- God, the afterlife, the problem of evil
- Humanity and salvation (aside from saving it with bitcoin)
- Deranged conspiracy theories that actually have a lot of evidence
- Calling out lies of media (aside from lies about inflation/interest)
Or any other actually kind of interesting thing.
Just zaps all day, and people screaming that bitcoin is *so totally different* from all those other coins.
